This is position requires several years of practical experience implementing financial applications, and working in consulting and product support role. The individual will work as part of a team and under the direction of a project lead. The individual be responsible for on-site implementations of business applications that are small to medium in size, but extremely complex. Knowledge of all aspects of a financial operation, including: Order Management, Inventory Control, Revenue Recognition for contract driven sales as well as A/R, A/P, G/L and the required workflow amongst these application areas is required. System and configuration designs can involve multiple products. The position involves working on multiple implementations concurrently and requires the ability to travel. Key Responsibilities The position involves serving in the key role of assuring customer satisfaction during the implementation process by participating in key implementation activities either as a team member or individual contributor. . Responsibilities include the preparation of systems design documents and working with the customer to apply best practices to their system configuration efforts and organize application pilot testing activities with the customer. The candidate will be involved in project scheduling with the customer and Softrax project manager, delivery of implementation services and product training, the development of supporting documentation as requested by the customer and for custom consulting services as well as collaboration with appropriate resources to assure the success of the implementation. The ability to communicate with customers is vital, as is the capacity to define and translate business needs into system usage and design specifications. |
